What is CareerLiftPro?
CareerLiftPro is an online career-support service that helps you create job-specific application documents and prepare for interviews. It also provides practical job-search guidance through the CareerLiftPro Learning Centre.
Is CareerLiftPro free to join?
Yes. Every verified CareerLiftPro account includes permanent access to free member features and one complete Application Kit. No credit card is required to create your account or use your free Kit.
Does my free account expire?
No. Your CareerLiftPro account and free member features do not expire. You will continue to have access to your Career Profile, saved Application Kits, completed documents, application history, points, achievements and other features designated as free.
Is the free Application Kit a limited trial?
No. It is one complete Application Kit included with your verified account. It does not expire simply because you have not used it within a particular period.
What is included in an Application Kit?
Each Application Kit includes:
- A targeted résumé
- A coordinated cover letter
- A personalized Interview Kit
- ATS compatibility and recruiter-focused reviews
- Accomplishment and bullet-strength analysis
- Grammar, spelling and writing review
- A post-interview thank-you note
- Editable Word and finished PDF document downloads
Career Profiles and Résumés
How does CareerLiftPro learn about my experience?
You will provide your existing résumé and review the information extracted from it. CareerLiftPro may also ask questions about your employment, education, skills, accomplishments and career goals.
You must review and confirm the information before it is used to create your application documents.
Will CareerLiftPro invent experience or qualifications for me?
No. CareerLiftPro creates documents using the information you provide and verify. It will not knowingly invent employers, qualifications, duties, accomplishments, education or skills.
Why does CareerLiftPro preserve my original Career Profile?
Your confirmed Career Profile provides a reliable record of your genuine experience. Preserving that information helps CareerLiftPro tailor your documents without changing facts merely to match a job posting.
You may add genuinely new employment, education, training, skills or accomplishments as your experience grows.
Does CareerLiftPro replace my original résumé?
No. Your original résumé and confirmed Career Profile remain your source information. Each targeted résumé is a separate document created for a particular opportunity.
Can I edit the documents CareerLiftPro creates?
Yes. Application documents will be available in an editable Word format as well as a finished PDF format.
Review every document carefully before sending it to an employer. You remain responsible for confirming that the information is complete and accurate.
Can I create a résumé without including my full home address?
Yes. You will be able to choose how your location appears on generated documents. Options may include:
- City and province, state or region
- City and country
- Full address
- No location
CareerLiftPro generally recommends using only the location information necessary for the application.
Language and Location
Can CareerLiftPro create documents in different forms of English?
Yes. Generated content can use:
- Canadian English
- US English
- British English
Your account-level preference can be changed, and you may choose a different English style for a particular Application Kit when applying outside your usual market.
Does my language preference change the CareerLiftPro website?
No. The language preference applies only to content generated for you. The CareerLiftPro website and Learning Centre are written in Canadian English.
Can I use CareerLiftPro if I live outside Canada or the United States?
Yes. CareerLiftPro supports international address information, including flexible fields for countries, regions and postal codes.
Your country of residence and generated-content language preference are separate. For example, someone living in Canada may choose US English when applying to a US employer.
Job Postings and Application Kits
How is an Application Kit tailored to a job?
CareerLiftPro compares the job posting with your verified Career Profile. It then emphasizes the most relevant genuine experience, skills and accomplishments while preserving accuracy.
Can CareerLiftPro guarantee that I will receive an interview or job offer?
No. CareerLiftPro can help you prepare clear, focused and professional application materials, but employers make their own hiring decisions. No résumé, service or career tool can guarantee an interview or job offer.
What happens to my completed documents when paid access ends?
Your completed Application Kits and saved documents remain available through your permanent CareerLiftPro account. The end of paid access prevents the creation of new unlimited Kits, but it does not delete your account or previously completed work.
Plans and Payments
What paid plans are available?
CareerLiftPro offers fixed-term access plans:
- 30-Day Access for CA$39.95
- 90-Day Access for CA$89.95
Both plans include unlimited Application Kit creation during the applicable access period.
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes may be added.
Do paid plans renew automatically?
No. CareerLiftPro paid plans are fixed-term purchases and do not renew automatically.
What happens if I purchase more access before my current period ends?
Additional paid access will be scheduled to begin after your current paid-access period ends. You will not lose unused days from an active plan.
What happens when paid access expires?
Your account returns to permanent free access. Your Career Profile, completed documents, application records, Learning Centre access, points and other free features remain available.
If you have unused free or reward Application Kits, they remain available for future use.
Are purchases refundable?
Because every verified member can create one complete Application Kit before purchasing and paid digital access begins immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable.
CareerLiftPro may provide a refund or correction for duplicate charges, billing errors, failure to provide purchased access, unauthorized transactions or where required by law.
Points and Rewards
Who can earn CareerLift Points?
Any verified CareerLiftPro account holder may earn points, including:
- Free members
- Members with active paid access
- Members whose paid access has ended
- Previous customers who have not purchased another plan
How can I earn points?
Points may be awarded for approved contributions that help other CareerLiftPro members, including useful first-hand hiring experiences, eligible company hiring-practice information and successful referrals.
Submissions are reviewed and do not earn points automatically.
What can points be redeemed for?
Points can be redeemed for a specific number of additional Application Kits. Points cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another member.
Exact earning and redemption values will be published before the full points programme opens.
Do CareerLift Points expire?
No. Approved CareerLift Points remain in your account even when you do not have active paid access.
Can anyone submit comments about a company?
No. Company hiring-practice contributions require a documented, first-hand connection to that company.
You may qualify if:
- The company is recorded in your confirmed Career Profile as a current or former employer; or
- You created a CareerLiftPro Application Kit for that company and confirmed that you submitted the application.
Hearsay, invented experiences and information about someone else’s application or employment do not qualify.
Are company contributions published automatically?
No. Contributions are reviewed before publication. Members must not include confidential information or publicly identify individual interviewers, employees, customers or other private individuals.
Referrals
How does the CareerLiftPro referral programme work?
Verified members receive a unique referral link and code. When someone uses that referral information, creates a free account and purchases their first paid access plan, the referring member may earn points after the referral is reviewed.
Do I earn points when someone creates a free account?
No. The referred member must complete their first eligible paid-plan purchase before referral points can be awarded.
What referrals do not qualify?
Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fraudulent activity, misleading promotion, reversed payments and other attempts to misuse the programme do not qualify.
Privacy and Account Security
Who can see my Career Profile and application documents?
Your private Career Profile and Application Kits are intended for your account. CareerLiftPro does not publish your résumé, job applications or employment details merely because you create an account.
Any future public Career Page will use separate privacy controls and will not be activated without the member’s choice.
Should I include sensitive personal information in my résumé?
Do not include information that employers do not need, such as your Social Insurance Number, banking information, passport number, account passwords or other highly sensitive identifiers.
Can I change my name or account identity?
Core identity information is protected to reduce account misuse and preserve the reliability of your Career Profile. If your legal or preferred name genuinely changes, contact CareerLiftPro for assistance.
You may still change document preferences, language settings and eligible location details.
Learning Centre and Support
Is the Learning Centre available without paid access?
Yes. The Learning Centre is part of CareerLiftPro’s permanent free access.
Can I comment on Learning Centre articles?
Verified members may comment on Learning Centre articles, subject to CareerLiftPro’s moderation and community rules. These ordinary article comments are separate from verified company hiring-practice contributions.
What should I do if I find an error in a generated document?
Do not submit the document to an employer until the error is corrected. Review the source information in your Career Profile and the job-posting details, then use the available correction or support options.
Always complete a final personal review before downloading or sending an Application Kit.
